Youth Motorcycle Helmet
Can an adult wear a youth-sized motorcycle helmet?
I'm 22 and female. I bought a helmet to wear on my new scooter that appeared to fit (though it is quite tight) and passes DOT standards. I liked it also because it wasn't as heavy as the other helmets. Then once I bought it I found out that it's actually a youth large helmet. Is this dangerous if I am an adult? Does it give me less protection since it's a smaller size?

The helmet passes DOT testing. As long as the helmet has been properly fit tested and adjusted to fit the unique shape of your head, you will be A-OK.
