Rollerblade Helmet Pads
how long you think it will take me to learn Rollerblade "i was good with quad skates"?
but the last time i used quad skates was 8 years ago maybe >_> but i was pretty good then,
but i feel its difficult to balance in Rollerblade
+ is the helmet necessary or the pads are enough? i am skating in the villa yard so no traffic is here
+ how did rollerblading effect your body and health ? like body shape, and calorie burning

It will be a pretty short learning curve to be comfortable. It took me about an hour and I had only used quad skates a couple times a year for about the previous 4 years and none in the 4 before that.
The shock will be when you are comfortable enough to forget that the skates are different and try to use the toe stop. Looked rather silly flying by my friend on one skate plus one wheel.
The helmet is more important than the other pads. Head hits are relatively rare but do a LOT of damage. I have known a number of people who hit their heads on the ground (I do a lot of skating and know a lot of people). For most, they have headaches from a few days to six months.
One died. I was not around that night but he was skating with no one near him (from security camera footage, indoors, out of sight of others, and hit the back of his head on the ground. He was conscious when put in the ambulance but died on the way to the hospital. The location has a 4/10 mile lap of very smooth concrete indoors. It was a light night and the next person around saw him on the floor and got help.
Of the other pads, wrist are next on my list. Your hands will almost always hit the ground and wrist guards will keep more skin on them. I prefer glove style ones made for aggressive skating.
Knees also hit the ground frequently but healing is less painful than on the hands.
Elbows rarely hit the ground
My fitness is better. Much better core balance and muscles. Better butt and legs.
I probably would weigh less than I do but the group I hang out with tend to go out for beer and food after we skate.
