Red Flashing Light
What does it mean when your Xbox has 1 flashing red light and says error E74?
Anyone know what caused this and what has to be done to fix it? I was just listening to music and all the sudden it stopped working and every time I turn it on it still just says Error E74 and the bottom right light is flashing red... Thanks!
Well the reason for the E74 is the xclamps on the bottom of the motherboard. They cause the board the fluctuate and bend upward which gives you alot of the red ring issues. Now that is what I have heard, so I dunno if that is 100% accurate.
How you fix it is you replace the xclamps and boths on them with some M5 bolts I forgot how long and 5mm nylon and metal washers. Look it up on youtube on how to actually do it, and most videos will tell you the exact size in the description. Look for the LONGEST possible video because those tend to be the most exact and informative. Some videos show how fast they can do it and that is just dumb.
