Motorcycle Helmet Tanked
in what order is logical...?
im getting a motorcycle. maybe not this summer...but by the end of next its fer certain. i want an old ninja 250. so i should buy gear before i ride the bike, right? like a decent helmet, gloves, jacket, pants, boots?
i see a bunch of people ridin around in shorts n tank tops, without helmets. me personally im scared poopless about gettin out there on the roads on something exposed instead of in some metal thing. been drivin car for 16 years now....got an idea of how the road and its flow operate. so is it a good idea to gear up before my first 100 miles?
im talkin decent entry level cruisin gear....not high end race track stuff. but i want my butt protected at 65 m.p.h. in case / when i make a mistake. ya know?
When i lived in Canada i saw lots of idiots riding around with shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops... i would wear leathers, helmet, gloves as i like my skin on my body not on the road. Also as far as i know the common practice of nurses to remove gravel and dirt from ragged skin its to scrub it hard and pick out - not fun ordeal that can last hours!.
Basic gear would be : new helmet, full gloves, a sturdy jacket.
