do people feel the full extent of pain when they get into an accident?
i saw an accident today,it was pretty horrific!
a teenage boy riding a motorcycle had come under a truck,he was alive but one of his leg was fully shattered.
he wasnt cryin in pain or even shouting...so it got me wondering if he felt all d pain or did his body shut off d sensation?
i've heard that the brain blocks pain tat is just too much to take...but in those cases people are unconsious,here the boy was awake,he was almost sitting without any emotions.
so comin back to my question,do people feel the pain during the accident?
The brain does indeed take away the pain after an accident, shock has some amazing properties.
I had a motorcycle accident many years ago myself and broke both my leg and my shoulder and felt no pain.
As an ex serviceman I know of countless stories of people who have been severely injured and not felt any immediate pain because of the trauma of war.
