Who makes a good cold weather motorcycle helmet?
I have a nice HJC, but damn it was cold inside it riding today! Are there cold weather helmets for bikers? Or do I have to just a get a snowmobile helmet? For you chics, the Lola HJC will be nice and cool in summer. FYI.
I live an hour south of Savannah, so it doesn't get truely cold as my home state of WI. Coldest would be high 30's low 40's and windy. Just don't want to wear carharts is all.
BTW all these answers are really helpful. I've only been riding a couple weeks and I LOVE it! I don't want cold weather to get in the way. Cuz it's too much fun!!!
I know scorpion has "snowmobile" helmets that are DOT and SNELL. It may be a little extreme with their nose guards and such. I ride with a regular scorpion helmet and it is by far the mmost comfortable helmet I have worn. Winters here in Jersey I just wear a thermal ski mask that goes to my shoulders, and that helps A LOT. You can get one of those at any hunting sport store
